We welcome you from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the day of your arrival. Late or early arrivals (to drop off luggage, for example) must be agreed in advance so that we can receive you in the best conditions.
La Maison de Sofia is not a place freely open to the public. This is a guest house owned by individuals who welcome you into their home.
It is possible that other travelers will also be accommodated there during your stay.
We invite you to enjoy the place in a friendly atmosphere and respect for everyone's privacy.
We regret that we cannot accommodate pets in our home.
Arrivals
Departures
On the last day, the suites must be vacated before 11 a.m. It is requested to respect this schedule in order to allow the cleaning and the preparation of the suites to welcome the next travelers.
Breakfasts
Breakfasts are served at a time that suits you between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. in your suite. Weather permitting, they are served on your private terrace so you can enjoy the outdoor space. During cool periods, blankets will be provided for your comfort.
You have the choice of hot drink from a selection of organic coffee and green or black tea.
Suites
Smoking is not permitted in the suites. However, smoking is permitted in outdoor areas. An ashtray is at your disposal on your terrace.
We ask visitors who stay in a suite with television to moderate the sound after 10 p.m.
There is no provision for cleaning the suites during your stay. However, we can provide replacement clean linen (sheets and towels) at your request.
The hosts decline all responsibility in the event of the disappearance of an object belonging to the travellers.
WiFi
You can access WiFi for free on the “lamaisondesofia” network with the code “lamaisondesofia30”.
Jacuzzis and whirlpool bath
The jacuzzi or whirlpool bath is freely accessible for the occupants of the suite.
You are asked to take a shower before using the jacuzzi or the Roman bath as well as after its use in order to eliminate all traces of cleaning product from your skin. For your comfort, it is recommended not to exceed a duration of 30 minutes per bath.
It is forbidden to smoke, eat or use glasses from your suite in the pool. However, if you wish to enhance your bath with a drink, we have unbreakable wine glasses and champagne flutes available.
Keys
In case of loss of the keys, a fixed participation of 40 euros per keychain will be invoiced.
Additional Services
Hammam (open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. by reservation)
40 euros per session of 30 minutes for 2 people. Kessa gloves and black soap are provided. A mint tea is offered after the session.
Charcuterie and cheese board (served from 7 p.m. on reservation the day before)
50 euros per board for 2 people. The board is topped with charcuterie, cheese, spreads and a bottle of local red, rosé or white wine. Each additional bottle of wine is charged at 22 euros.
Champagne (Philipponnat or Drappier)
45 euros a bottle with aperitif biscuits.
Picnic basket (on reservation the day before)
40 euros the basket for 2 people. The basket is made up of bread, cold cuts, cheese, organic tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit, a bottle of still or sparkling water at your convenience. We have an insulated backpack available for you to carry the picnic on the go.
